arrival of baby boy Adam Hariz

Salam everyone… sorry for not updating so long… been busy with work & arrival of my new baby boy.. Alhamdulillah, I have safely delivered a baby boy named Adam Hariz on 25^th December 2012 at 8.48am at SDMC Subang Jaya. this baby boy was delivered 2 weeks earlier with birth weight of 3.38kg.. It was a fast delivery … I started having show ( bleeding) at around 4.30am.. started having contraction pain at around 5 am.. I waited for 1 hour until 6 am before I woke up my husband at 6 am when I couldn’t stand the pain…
By the time we packed our things & drove to SDMC , I reached there around 7 in the morning.. VE ( vaginal examination) was done by midwife & I was shocked when she told me, it’s already 7cm. Contractions were very strong at that time 3 in 10.  My O&G consultant, Dr Delaila came around 8am & broke my amniotic fluids… by that time it’s already 8cm… the pain was more after that.. because I’m already 8cm,  they can only give me Entonox gas for analgesia.. & believe me it doesn’t help at all… I was in excruciating pain… was crying at times.. only at this time, I only felt the true pain of labour..

I never felt that pain before… when I delivered Arianna, I was on epidural.. because at that time my amniotic fluid was leaking first..& I was only 3cm at that time.. when on epidural, I could only felt butterflies on my stomach & the rest of the lower extremeties were numb..

Then after 30 minutes of pushing, at last my baby boy were delivered… & the pain was automatically disappear.. I was crying.. nothing can describe my feeling at that time… Alhamdulillah, I managed to go through all this pain to meet my little khalifah …

It was a difficult time to choose the best name for him… me & hubby were a little bit busy before the arrival of my baby boy… hubby was having his final year exam whereas I was having pre master entrance exam.. only after the baby boy was born, we have the time to choose the name.. We decided to name him Adam Hariz… Adam is one of the prophets name while Hariz means pemelihara…  Hope that he will be a good son insyaAllah :)

I could say that this previous pregnancy was full of ups & down… I had no morning sickness in the early pregnancy…but I was admitted at 32 weeks of pregnancy for premature contraction. Was given i.m dexa twice to mature baby’s lung.. it was painful.. then at 37weeks, I had high fever while working until was observed in labour room, hospital sungai buloh… Alhamdulillah Ya Allah.. u gave me strength to be able to go through this wonderful pregnancy which I will miss so much.

Vietnam..... in a different angle

salam everyone.... i've just came back from vietnam after a few days of business trip. Alhamdulillah... it was a wonderful trip. if i could describe in a word..superb!! To tell  the truth, at first i thought there is nothing interesting to visit in vietnam.. so, i didn't expect anything at first.. but i was wrong... hehe it was interesting.. i enjoyed it very much, the sight seeing, visiting war historical places & the best part is shopping !!!

Alhamdulillah, we departed from Malaysia via Vietnam Airlines.. & reached Vietnam around 2 pm...  then from airport, the first stop was the Saigon Post office... a beautiful architecture..& was designed by architect Gustave Eiffel, the one who built the eiffel tower!! it doesn't look like a post office from outside..

After refreshing ourselves with a hot bath & solat.. we went for dinner @ saigon sri penang... they served halal nyonya food.. like asam pedas

After having a wonderful dinner..Then we went to ben thant night market for shopping... A night they are a few stalls selling all kinds of souvenirs such as table placemat, coaster, cotton baju kurung, t-shirt & many more .. i bought some souvenirs, very cheap :)

our last stop for the day was Hard Rock Cafe Ho chi Minh city.. the shop was quite small & not many choices of souvenirs...

~ Day 2..Vietnam

The first stop was the Water puppet show ... usually it's the normal puppet show but this is different because it's in the water.. & this water puppet show has won a few awards for best cultural performance..

The next stop was the war museum.. i find it very interesting... especially about the vietnam war & the effect of the war to the people ... some of them was born with congenital defects due to the effect of bom chemical... very sad story of vietnam war...yet so interesting..

After that we went for shopping at Ben Thant market..1 of the biggest market selling a lot of things including souvenirs, fabrics, coffee, households & many more...

Most of us aim for the fabrics... lace & cotton is very cheap... 4 metres of cotton around rm 40- rm 50... 4 metres of lace around rm 50 to rm 70... Sgt rambang mata... I bought more than  5 cotton fabrics..

~ Day 3 Vietnam

We had our early breakfast today because we need to travel around 1 hour ++ from Ho chin Minh city to Cu chi tunnel.. it has 1 of the historical places.. which is the Cu Chi tunnel... it was the previous army camp... & it was very interesting to see all the traps & hideout they made during the war

This is 1 of the hideouts... very small hole where they hide... so small that only thin people can go in hehe.. cdm Kak Mai, so supportive trying the small hideout.

then, this is one of the famous cuchi tunnel... it is quit small & dark, the size is only just nice. For those yg ada clastrophobic memang x boleh masuk... Alhamdulillah, i've tried going through it .. it was a wonderful experience :)

Then, we went to the Mosque to perform our Zuhur... it was a simple mosque situated in the middle of the city... nearby the mosque is all halal food. :)

the mosque was clean... an old lady & a few ladies were staying there & keep the mosque clean..

then we had our halal nyonya food @ D'nyonya...

After our lunch, we we brought to the reunification  palace...this palace was rebuild because it was destroyed during the war..

After the sight seeing, we went back to our hotel to get ready for the gala dinner... excited because all of us are going to wear the traditional veitnam dress ao dai...

a few tips while in vietnam ;
1) Don't walk alone in ben thant market.. because there is a lot of pick pocket.. but if u walk in a group.. it's safe :)
2) it's better to go with travel guides.. easier ..
3) bring extra bag.. because there's a lot of things to shop there :)

Salam everyone...many have asked about it & i'm excited to just share my own experience 2 loose weight...

I started to gain weight during my pregnancy...total weight increase during pregnancy about 20kgs...after I delivered my little princess Arianna Sofea, i lost 10kgs ...  at first i thought i will loose weight after a month of pantang.. but i only lost a few kgs.. my weight was 58kgs.. about 8 kgs heavier than my pre pregnancy weight. Thinking that if i continue breastfeeding & dieting, i will loose another few kgs.. but i was wrong.. i’ve realized that i will eat more after breatfeeding sebab rase lapar hehe

I’ve tried dieting before but only lost 1-2 kg a month.. dieting doesn't work for me because i can't resist to eat this wonderful food ...

then I started trying a few slimming products... 1^st was a slimming drink Jxxxxx, it actually tasted like orange juice but the problem was i did not loose any weight when i’m using it. It only replaces ur meal.. but i love eating .. Then i thought of changing to product Lxxxx which has the effect of purging... & for a few days, i experienced palpitations & insomnia.. so, i stopped taking Lxxxxx.. then a friend has suggested Premium beautiful corset but initially i was reluctant to try as it was expensive...

My red alert was when a few friend asked me whether i’m pregnant again.. huhu i was a little bit sad when everyone thinks im pregnant as my belly was still big eventhough i’m already 8 months post confinement. Huhu.. at that time, i read a wonderful testimonial by a friend named Najwa.. this is najwa...

The other thing good about this Pb corset is it works wonders for back pain... i’m travelling almost everyday 90kms from Shah Alam to Seremban... n before this i had frequent back pain due to the long distance driving... but i’ve realized if i wear this corset while driving... i will not experience any back pain.. Alhamdulillah :)

Last weekend we went for lunch @ Laman Grill steak & Barbeque in seksyen 13, Laman seri business park... just found out that it's own by Chef Zubir, 1 of the judges in Masterchef Malaysia...after a few weeks watching masterchef programme, i was curious to know how the food taste like hehe..

that day we went for lunch... It is a cosy dining place.. love the simple interiors...but i can say that it's a little bit small.. it serves 5 stars food with a 3 stars price.. even the food presentation itself is superb :) The interior of the restaurant is adorned with the awards and certificates the multi-award winning chef received over the years. The kitchen is located at the back of the restaurant, open for all to see the chefs..

Salam.. sorry for the long pause, i was busy with work... i have many things to tell & share... my baby Arianna is already 1 year old now.. how time flies kan.. it just felt like yesterday that i went through labour.. it was a blissful pregnancy, Alhamdulillah. it is just wonderful to see her grow from the day she was born until today, i really miss the small baby Arianna :)

Alhamdulillah i was able to organized a small & simple birthday party for my lil Arianna Sofea.. we managed to organized at my parents’s house in Shah Alam on 7th november .. hubby was busy with master's exam & the only day he's free is during public holiday.. it was a pink fairy tale theme..
