My best friends wedding

sorry for neglecting this blog for  more than1 month .. i've been busy.. as u all know, i have started working after 3 months of maternity leave..trying to organize myself as a working mother .. it's not easy but i'm trying to cope.. Alhamdulillah, so far i'm coping.. too many things to share but i have too little time... hehe Just wanted to update about my best friends wedding... My best friend shik finally tie the knot after more than 8 years of love story with kojek.. Shik was my roomate in Asasi Sains together with ween.. SHik n kojek met during asasi.. n Alhamdulillah their relationship lasted until they were united as husband & wife on 29th January 2011 at shik's house.. Shik was always there during my wedding & ween's wedding.. i wanted to be there, helping with the preparation but unfortunately i was busy with my new role as a mother to Arianna Sofea. These are some of the wedding pix...

I love bouquet.. to receive a bouquet is a wonderful feeling.. it's therapeutic..do u know that by looking at a bunch of beautiful flowers everyday can make u happy? It's striked me the idea 2 write about bouquet when i saw my friend, Erleena received a bouquet of roses for her 1st year wedding anniversary.. the last bouquet I received was during my 26th birthday early this year by my hubby (@ that time was fiancee :P) . he loves to give me flowers & i love it... hehe Hope that i'll get more & more in future.. hehe

my beautiful wedding...

sorry again for not updating so long.. nearly 4 months...i was very busy preparing for my wedding at that time... January is a month of happy events.. 1st my birthday on th 15th january..it was a rather simple birthday celebration as all of us were busy with the wedding..but i'm very thankful that i was able to celebrate my birthday with my love one & my beloved family. n then my akad nikah on the 24th january..

5 days before my wedding - went for a mempelai package spa in serenity spa, concorde hotel... very relaxing & nice.. highly recommended for future brides hehe n then i went for a facial at herbaline...

2days before - my simple cream purple fresh flower dais by rass deco was already prepared..n not forgetting my bilik pengantin as well.. love it so much :) thank you kak ila..

a day before- i took the hantaran from kak dira..
wanted to sleep early that night but a few things rush in my mind...will i be a good wife & soon to be a wonderful mother? hehe i guess that's normal thing for a bride to be hehe Alhamdulillah I managed to sleep early that night..

My wedding day
i woke up early that day about 5.45am.. after performing solat subuh, i went down to look at my dais & arranging the hantaran in fresh cream roses..beautiful!! Kak Zetty from Udaimatunnur came as early as 8am to make me a beautiful bride.. wearing white silver modern baju kurung for akad nikah. .. Alhamdulillah at about 1015am, i have become ariza's wife.. Alhamdulillah in 1 lafaz i heard him say " aku terima nikahnya nurul azwa binti nurul azman dengan mas kahwin 300 ringgit tunai" i smiled... i didn't cry when abah performed the solemnization.. too happy to cry i guess.. after that he slipped in the beautiful estrella diamond wedding ring from diamond & platinum in my right ring finger..i did the same :) I'm grateful & thankful to Allah & my family for making this day come true... Alhamdulillah everything went well..

For my sanding, thanks to Emanier's boutique for making my heavily beaded purple kebaya with matching shoes & veil... love it! thank u for everyone who could make it to my special day.. really aprreciate it very much... for those who couldn't make it, thank u for ur prayers & wonderful wishes...May Allah bless u all...i'm very thankful that my family are there with me on that day N thank u to my dearest friends- alia, shik, ween n nadia for helping me a lot for my wedding...Alhamdulillah, now i have a new family... my family & my in laws :)

Azween & Aiman's solemnization

2 months has passed by... time flies.. without we noticing it.. it has been 2 months since azween and aiman's wedding... i didn't have the time to blog in as i was busy working in paeds... congrats to my dear sis, ween n my brother in law aiman.. for me, it was a wonderful wedding event... ibu n I were very tired preparing for their wedding but alhamdulillah it turn out quite well...Alhamdulillah after more than 3 years, they are united as husband & wife.

for my dear sis, congratulation on your wedding :) have a wonderful wedding life... to my brother in law, take good care of my only sister.. we love u both always... hope that i will get a niece and nephew soon..

some highlights about the wedding event in perdana heights ;

* i love the cream fresh flower pelamin by Zalfie Zainal... superb!!

* ibu and I did the ribbons for the doorgift since May...

* bronze gold was the wedding theme

* on the eve of event , neighbours were very helpful helping out with the bunga manggar n last minute preparation... thanks you so much :)

* ween couldn't sleep that night...nervous

* i woke up early in the morning to arrange the hantaran :)

* father of the bride, abah was confident and excited to do the akad but he was actually nervous on the solemnization day itself... hehe tok kadi asked him to repeat the lafaz as he was nervous hehe

* I thought ween will cry during the lafaz.. but she just smiled :) my heart was beating fast as aiman say the lafaz"aku terima nikahnya,nurul azween binti nurul azman dengan mas kahwinnya rm 315 tunai”..only with 1 lafaz.. "Alhamdulillah they are now husband n wife"

* shik, nadia and me were crying a lit bit after the solemnization... we were very happy for Ween

* a lot of people got lost that day because confusing road direction hehe sorry..

* beautiful fresh flower hantaran from kak dura..

* we were happy to gather many family, friends from subang, UM-RCMP, matrix as well

My best friend's wedding....

Too many things happen lately..I wanted to share all of them but I have too little time ..let me start about my best friend’s wedding… I went to pokka’s wedding in December… having thought that I don’t want 2 miss my best friend’s wedding… I went and took leave 2 months before n booked flight to Kota Bharu… it was my first time stepping foot in Kota Bharu.. I’ve never been there since I was born… when I arrived at the airport, pokka was very welcoming n so kind enough to even pick us up at the airport abt 4 hours before his akad nikah… thanks!! We checked in a small, cosy hotel Crystal Lodge... it is a small hotel but it has astro channels n wi-fi.. hehe then we went for tea @ kopitiam

That night was beautiful.. although it was drizzling.. it was a dark night filled with stars.. we went to Pokka’s house first.. his mother was nice, giving us some snacks before following the “ rombongan” to Asmath’s house…I sat beside his mother, waiting anxiously as pokka said his "lafaz"… I’m so excited to see my best friend getting married. pokka look so calm, wearing white baju melayu… alhamdulillah, with 1 lafaz.. he & asmath were united as husband n wife at that night...

The next day, we went for their reception @ Asmath’s house… both of them look beautiful in brownish-gold persalinan… i enjoyed the food.. to capture my best friend's happiest moment on his wedding, it's a memorable moment for me ..to my best friend, Pokka & his beautiful wife, Asmath.. Selamat Pengantin Baru… semoga berkekalan hingga ke akhir hayat.. for the beautiful couple, May Allah bless your wedding forever...amin..

december wedding bells..

December is the month for weddings.. 3 weeks ago, went to Asma' n farouk's wedding in Slim River.. drove all the way to Slim River postcall as i don't want 2 miss it... i'm so haPpy for them, they r meant 2 be together forever. the wedding was sweet... with pink as their theme, the wedding was sweeter.. had a great time, met a bunch of my juniors..

for asma' n farouk - Semoga berbahagia hingga ke akhir hayat :) tomorrow will be a big day for 1 of my bestfriend, Pokka. can't miss it for the world..hehe
